During Kulturnatt, you can freely wander around Nidaros Cathedral, surrounded by music. From the small side chapels, you will hear choral singing by the Nidaros Cathedral Choir and the Trondheim Vocal Ensemble. As you move through the cathedral, you will transition from one musical piece to another, while taking in the sight of stone sculptures, stained glass windows, beautiful vaults, and arches.

Nidaros Cathedral will be open from 7 PM to 10 PM. At 7 PM, there will be a short concert before the choirs disperse to the side chapels. Every half hour, there will be a brief introduction to the history of the cathedral in either Norwegian or English, provided by guides from the Nidaros Cathedral Restoration Workshop.

The Nidaros Cathedral Choir and Trondheim Vocal Ensemble, conducted by Oddgeir Kjetilstad, will perform the music.
