Setting-out and templet making
The tracing floor is situated above the stonemason’s workshop. This is where the setting-out is done, through full-size drawings, in order to make templets for the new stones.

Situated on the floor above the stonemason’s / stone carver’s workshop is the setting-out and templet making workshop. The tracing floor, measuring seven by seven meters, is the foundation for making the individual templets for the stonemasons and stone carvers carving new stones.
